Convincing my DH
My DH is kind of, well what can I call it, cheap. We save most of our money and we rarely spend it on extra things. I want to go on some kind of vacation, if even a smaller one, like North Carolina, Florida or something like that. How do I convince him to relax a bit and take a little vaca?

Try pricing out an itinerary or two to show him that it doesn't have to be very costly to get away. Maybe when he that it doesn't have to break the bank he'll come around.
Good luck - vacations are great for recharging the batteries, seeing/learning new things and even just reconnecting without regular everyday life for a few days.

My FH is kind of stingy too. I did all the research on an upcoming trip for the summer to California, and we're going. I think doing the research beforehand and maybe finding some things that he may like to do will help convince him. Good luck!

I would say do all the work for him and giving prices to compare (so he see that you are getting a good deal)... he will thank you when you get there
