Was in L&D all night

thinking it was finally time. I was getting contractions every 3-4 minutes to be told that I am 60% effaced and still NOT dilating and that the contractions were caused from slight dehydration!

The good news is the nurse who was taking care of me said I am definitely having the baby this week from what she can tell from examining me. She also said she seperated my sac from my cervix being my doctor did not do a well enough job (OUCH! ). I am trying so hard to avoid an induction come Monday evening.

I feel like she's never going to get here! Being DH is too afraid to BD I had my sister massage my feet for 2 hours today and hit all the pressure points they say can bring on labor, I walked, got a mani and pedi AND I plan on taking a teaspoon of Castor Oil which is what my OB advised although not sure if that will help me dilate but I guess if she mentioned it.

The nurse also said the reason I am getting contractions every day that come and go it's because my body is trying to go into labor and will try and fail and continue until it turns into full active labor.

All I can offer is hugs You know how frustrated I was at your stage. There isn't anything that can be said to make you feel better at this point. Just know that it's SOOOO worth it in the end. I swear I would wait the looong 8 days past my due date again just to see that sweet little face for the first time. It's amazing.

All I can offer is hugs You know how frustrated I was at your stage. There isn't anything that can be said to make you feel better at this point. Just know that it's SOOOO worth it in the end. I have been trying too to get DD out..I MADE DH BD the other night, no effect just some more contractions, I used a BF pump for nipple stimulation- no luck I got some major contractions last night and thought that was it but they stopped and I am off to work today.
I bought evening primrose too and hope by this weekend something I am doing will work...BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!! I have light menstrual cramps all morning and A LOT of pressure from the baby, it's so hard for me to walk (I have pain down there when I walk) and it's much more comfortable if I sit. I don't know why but I am also very moody today and yesterday which is not me .

I hope to hear some good news from you as well!! I will be thinking about you!!
