Not only was it too hot to teach...
but a student from one of the classes that I was covering tells me that he is going home. When I asked him why he said "because I have THINGS in my hair"!!!
He was back in school today because you are no longer allowed to keep a child out of school if they onlyl have "nits". Can you imagine??? Only in the NYC Public Schools!!!

Oh no! I remember having it when I was young and the nurse had to check and if you had any nits you were not allowed back in school, even after I used the shampoo to kill the nits.
