I knew I wasn't pregnant
But even still, getting that call from the RE's office telling me the beta test is a negative, in a REALLY sorrowful voice, while saying twice, "I'm really sorry Beth", still stings nonetheless.
I hate this, I really do. It just suc!ks.

Tell me about it. I don't go for betas because of this. I test at home and temp so I know when I am out without having them rub it in.

I'm so sorry. I often wonder if they practice that voice. And my horrible call sounds like yours since I'm Beth too (though I make everyone call me Beth Ann). And it does SUCK!!!!!!

Beth I feel terrible you got that call.. I refuse to hear it anymore so I just test on my own then I call them and tell them myself... its just too painful..

I think that's what I'll do for now on. I'm better today, and I like to think I'm pretty good at handling all this crap, but yesterday, getting that call REALLY stung. I don't want to put myself through that again if I don't have to!
