I hate people that critize us!!

i was driving home from my trip to Michigan, after seeing my husbands kids.. was about 3:00 this morning.. in NJ.. radio talk thing.. this guy was talking about how women should not have kids right now because there is no future and it will raise taxes etc.. and then went on to talk about how IFV is making it to easy for us to have kids.. i was so mad then i started crying.. How dare someone judge what i am going thu or what any of us are going thru..

I know that i may not be rich, and might not be able to send my kids to Harvard... but i have the right to have a chance like every woman does to have a child.. that experience that SOME women take advantage of and makes good moms and good to-be moms look bad...
I cryed the rest of the way home, wondering if i made a mistake.. and in my heart i know that am givin a chance at having IVF and i am taking it..

Ok i feel better expressing my view.. ..

IVF is easy? In what world?

I got so mad one time I was watching The Soup on E and they were talking about Jon and Kate + 8 and they showed one of the kids said something like "boys have weiners" and the host guy said something like "Yes and mommies take fertility drugs," or something stupid like that.

people don't understand. Up until very recently, my parents criticized my cousin because years ago she had her son that way. All that money!

Now they get it. Needless to say, it's just ignorant.

People are so freakin' unbelievable!! I was reading Parenting magazine the other day & the poll for that issue was should women who all ready have children be allowed to use methods of RE to conceive a second/thirdwhatever!! Do you know some f******* retards wrote back NO, they should just deal with the one they have!!!!! B/C, if God wanted them to have more he'd make it so!!!!

My uncle said to me "why bother spending all that money on having another one, especially the way the economy is today." That I should be "happy with the one I have." Then he goes on to say "I thought you were broke anyway??"

Like going to see the RE and having to take meds mean that I don't love or appreciate the fact that I have a DS. I may not be rolling in cash and I complain about bills, but really who doesn't. How does that make me broke?

Some people just talk out their azz all day.

This is why I'm trying my best not to tell anyone yet. I just started and don't know how far I'll have to go ( IUI, IVF )etc.....and I'm just NOT interested to hear everyone's take on my health, situation, what could be the problem, blah blah -

I'm also really aggravated b/c NOT that it's anyone's business, but I'd never LIE about it after the fact as if I were ashamed or something either. My cousin recently had twins after trying for 6 years to get pregnant .......not that I would EVER ask, not that it is anyone's business, but my Aunt is trying SO hard to convince everyone that it's completely natural ..........Anyone with 1/4 of a brain and any experience with this can put the pieces together and know she had soem kind of 'help", So WHY ??? WHY are you lying to everyone as if it's a BAD thing? As if it's some horrible secret to keep hidden away? As if now, that I have an issue, there's something WRONG with me??
Anyway, rant over. People are a$$holes, which is why I'm trying my best to keep this between me and DH.

my cousin tells me that my life is so busy and that I have a chronic med condition and maybe I shouldn't have kids..

wh...

does that mean I shouldn't try..I shouldn't re-prioritize my life for children..?
