Re: RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas

we went to RIU Palace 2 years ago... the property is very nice, nice size pools, beautiful grounds... the ocean is a bit rough so I wouldnt recommend swimming there, I have seen a few people have trouble getting out of the water (the current is very strong), it could really be dangerous... my only negative thing to say would be about some of the staff... they were not as attentive as I like, we had to wait for a long time for meals or for refills... but all in all, we had a wonderful stay there...

We're staying at Riu Santa Fe next door. I've heard pretty good things about Riu Palace though. Tripadvisor has a lot of reviews.

I didn't stay at the RIU...this past December I stayed at the Marquis which was great. But I do want to say that if you like swimming in the ocean, Cabo is not the place to go. Most of the resorts have no swimming in the ocean rules. There are some bay areas you can swim throughout the island.

Re: RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas

I LOVED it, I went there with a friend last summer Chat Icon Chat Icon I want to go back.

The hotel was great and the night life in the area was so much fun.

Can I suggest the ATV tour. They pick you up early, its like a 20 minutes drive to the site and you drive over to and along the pacific. Beautiful! Chat Icon
