teaching career after a different masters

Has anyone gone into teaching after they had already gotten their masters degree in something else?

If so, did you get paid for the 2 masters when you went for your first job after getting your masters in education?

Dh is in this situation now. he has a law degree and then went through the teaching fellows program. they only gave him the credits for a Masters, not a doctorate. after he is done with Fellows he will have another higher degree and will be at the end of their pay scale.

LI districts are at liberty to credit you for whatever they want. so they may give you credit for the first Masters, but they may not, particularly if does not relate to what you will be teaching. it all depends on the district.
