Keflex while Pregnant
Hi Ladies,
So I caught a cold over the weekend and went to my GP today. He said I have a slight upper respitory infection and becaue I'm high risk (due to IVF) I should take Keflex for 10 days to be sure it doesn't get worse. I called my ob/gyn and she said it's fine but I'm nervous about taking antibiotics while pg. Anyone else take this during their pregnancy?

I didnt take this specific med, but I was on z-pac which is a pregnancy-friendly form of Zithromax. I had to take it in my 1st trimester for a sinus infection and strep throat.
It's OK to take baby-safe antibiotics.
