Is it wrong to want to fix up your house and get in better shape before you TTC???

we have 2 daughters 9 and 4 ....and I had wanted to TTC a few years ago but DH said 2 children were enough for us. Well lately he has been wanting another child so we are going to TTC. but I said I wanted to wait a few months so we could get our home improvement stuff done and get my body into better shape(I tend to gain over 100lbs when I am pregnant)
He is so disappointed that I want to wait ....he REALLY wants a CHILD NOW!!!!!!
so now I feel guilty telling him no everyday
I only want to wait until April am I selfish?

I don't think you're being selfish. When and only when you are ready should you have another child. Try not to be so hard on yourself. April is right around the corner.

He is so EXCITED!!!!!! I just feel really bad but both my daughters were "SURPRISES" so it wasnt planned and it wasw a little chaotic because were living in my parents house and werent married etc.
This time we have a house and if we just wait a few months we can give the baby his/her their own nursery
Neither of my daughters had their own nursery/bedroom.
they were with us until we moved to our house 3 years ago and they share a room now and their bedrooms wont be ready for a few months
