Is anyone NOT going to find out the sex of your baby?
I am so torn.
I really didn't want to know, but DH wants to..... and my darling mom wants me to find out too. Part of me would like to know and part of me wouldn't.
All I really care about is that my baby is healthy.
So, Who is waiting????

I'm waiting! We are the opposite. DH wants to wait and I want to know! We decided the first child we will keep a surprise and the rest we will find out. It's going to be hard though!

We are not finding out despite the fact that everyone is dying to know. We made a decision at the beginning that we didn't want to know, we want the surprise the day the baby is born. It's been hard holding out but we've made it 27 weeks so I can hold out until the end. It will be SO worth it!!

we aren't...we always agreed we wanted to be surprised when we had a baby..and now with twins it's double the suspense!

We're going to be surprised!!! We both feel that theres so few amazing surprises in life and that hearing whether its a boy or girl in the delivery room will be one them!! Neither of us would want to give that up!!

We did not find out with my DS. At my shower people bought me onesies, stretchies, and pajamas in neutral colors like green. I didn't really receive outfits. It was fine because after I gave birth to my DS I received a lot of boys clothes as presents. I also did not want to really do any clothes shopping until the baby was born.
With this baby my DH does not want to find out and I was a little undecided. So when we had the sonogran m a couple of weeks ago we had the tech write it on a piece of paper in case we changed our minds. Right now it is taped in my baby book and we have not looked at it.

*ETA: as for the shower, we got a few outfits in greens or yellows but not really much which was fine with us. Chelle actually gave us some clothing of her daughters (she didn't find out the sex either), both my SIL's gave us a few things and so forth. So we're all set on clothing until 6 months and we'll use the gift cards we received at the shower to get gender clothing then.

I am really not a fan or the typical blue and pink thing anyway so I am looking forward to getting the yellows, greens, and hopefully creams and beiges which is more my thing anyway.

We're not finding out...I'm with you on this one There are such few genuine surprises in life that I wouldn't want ANYONE, including my husband or mom to take that away from me, if that is what I wanted...why don't you just tell them to find out if they want, but swear not to tell you, if it is so important to them...but not to ruin it at your shower by telling the world...you can always tell the tech to put the sex in an envelope, so your husband can open it on his own if he really has to know
As for your shower, you will get yellow and green stuff, which is sooo adorable, but also practical stuff which has nothing to do with the sex...like car seats...and gift cards! Good luck and let us know what you decide

We did not find out with #1. The clothes we got at our shower were neutral, yellow and green which works out great for baby #2!!

I don't want to know, but DH does. He doesn't want the surprise. He wants to know what he is having to prepare for either a boy or girl.

As with my 1st, we are waiting again- Theres not a whole lot of good suprises in this world and hearing that doctor say " IT'S A .........................." is the best words I ever heard - so heres to !!!!

With our first pregnancy before i missed carried in January DH and I were convinced we wanted to know what we were having. Now with this pregnancy we feel totally opposite. We don't want to know at all! we feel that this is one blessing we are being given and all we want is a healthy baby. This is killing the rest of the family because they want to know so they can prepare. LOL I dont know if i could have it written down on a piece of paper and have everyone else know except us. Im sure the items that would be purchased at the shower would give it away!. Im always one to plan ahead so this is killing me and im only 7 weeks in.  I can do it though. Team green here i am!
