Ice Cream Parlors?
DH is in search of a good ice cream parlor - preferably South Shore Suffolk but anything withing a 20 - 30 minute drive might tempt him. We're in the Sayville - Bohemia area. Any suggestions (other than Friendly's)?
We went to Coyle's in Bayshore a few weeks ago. He grew up in Queens not far from Jahn's and we'd love to find something like that around here. Do they still exist anywhere?

funny you posted this, I was JUST saying that I wanted to find a place like Jahn's to take my kids to!!
I remember when I used to visit my cousins out here (i came from Brooklyn)
we used to go!
The only thing I came up with is the one here in Massapequa-cant remember the name but its off of Park Blvd,
also, the International Cafe
(I think there are a couple of these? I know there is one in RVC)
and Itkins in Valley Stream.

The one in Massapequa is called Krish's. It's off Sunrise Highway & Broadway on Central Avenue, NOT Park Blvd.

Also there is Cold Stone in Patchogue in the applebees parking lot. It's off of Waverly.
OR you can go to Sanoma in the Stop and Shop parking lot next to the sun vet mall. They are infamous for their desserts. They are DELISH!!!!

My brother and SIL work for Coyle's, so I'm kind of partial. But I have to agree, Milk and Cookies in Bay Shore is also very good!

Ice Cream Cottage in Mastic. corner of Montauk and Herkimer. I had it only once but oh my god it was good.

McNulty's on North Country Road in Miller Place. They make all homemade ice cream.
