NYC Teachers Question about +30
So I looked over my undergraduate transcript and realize I took 6 credits more then I needed to graduate. Some of my undergrad was education courses. Could I use those 6 credits towards my +30?

I remember there was something on the differential form that you needed to write if you had excess credits from your Masters...Go look on the NYC website you can download the form

But it isn't excess from Masters...they are from undergrad.
Well I guess it can't hurt to fill out the forms anyway.
So to apply these credits I just fill out the form and mail it in? Do I need my transcript to send?

It's masters plus any additional 30 credits. They don't have to be masters credits. They just have to be in addition to your bachelors and masters.

Yes you have to send a transcript and make sure what ever you send is return receipt

I believe that you do need a letter if they were taken while you were getting your bachelors. I think all it needs to say is that you needed 120 credits to graduate and you had 126 or whatever the amount is.
If you go on the DOE site you should be able to find info on exactly what you need to send in for the salary diff. But I would make copies of everything and get a return receipt. I actually went to brooklyn and dropped it off in person.
