Going to concerts when pregnant.......
Has anyone heard from their doctors that it's not safe to attend rock concerts during pregnancy?

I went to a concert at 2 months. I don't see why it wouldn't be okay.

i went to one at 30 weeks and the baby kicked alot guess she was dancing. i actually told the bouncer i was pregnant and he let me sit in the vip section at irving plaza.

My pediatrician didn't mention concert going to me.
I went to 2 concerts - one that I was concerned with because of the level of the music. Oasis - 7th row at Radio City. Joseph was just bopping around in there. I got into the VIP section to at a Central Park concert for the second concert.
With Maddie I didn't go to any. The only difference between them I can see is she seems to have rhythm while he has none.

not in the least....my doula/friend went to a concert with each of her 4 pregnancies (3 of which were Ozzy Osbourne concerts).
Wish we would have made it to one!

I'm going to see Tom Jones next month in AC...I'll be about 12 weeks along. although, does Tom Jones count as a concert???

The baby is nestled and protected in the womb so you don't have to worry about that. They don't hear the sounds as clear as you would.. It's almost as though they are underwater.. it's muffled. Go to the concert! I'm sure your baby will enjoy hearing whatever muffled sounds he/she hears

i went to see creed when i was 5 months pregnant, doctor never mentioned not going, and my daughter LOVES music now.
