I think it works well for a boy or girl, but I think it's more common to use it for a boy.

Totally a boy's name. In fact, if we have a we're naming him Hayden Alexander. I fell in the love with the name years back on the show "Coach". His name was Hayden Fox. Then there is Hayden Christensen. It can really go either way but I think more than .

Initally I think boy, just like I think boy with the name Avery and Peyton. Now a days girls are named them too.
