1 cent folders at Staples

It's that time again...thought I'd share the news. Wednesday is the last day. The limit is 10 but it's 30 for teachers. They also have 1 cent packs of pencils (8 per pack), 25 cent binders (1 inch and half inch), and 1 cent mini bottles of Purell.

I just came back from Staples here in Brooklyn. They kept the folders behind the register and had signs saying there was a quantity exception for teachers. When I got there, the girl said there was a limit even for teachers and that after 10, they were 10 cents each. ***?

Anyone else have problems?

I'm going to try a different Staples tomorrow.

I got 30 and sent DH in for 20 more and the girl rang him up for 10 and then rang him up again for another 10. I'm in Queens.

THe staples in HUntington had a 10 limit.

I went to the Staples in Bayside on Northern Blvd and they told me 30 folders and actually let me buy about 35 for a penny each. But then I went to the Staples on 71st Ave in Forest Hills and they only let me buy 10 at a penny each. I don't know if they just don't know what they're supposed to charge or if each store has it's own policy or what. But it's annoying. They obviously don't realize how crucial the difference is to us
