Wish Me Luck
Well, we've been looking for either a Border Terrier, Jack Russell or a good mix and I found a good mix!
I'm waiting for my application. Adopting is so nerve racking!

OK, now I'm getting annoyed. Adoption is so annoying. First of all I pay a $25 fee which is non refundable even if I'm not approoved so they can do a background check. I email them today and inform them the info may not be up to date because we moved recently. She tells me- "we can tell if you were arrested 2 days ago"
So thats nuts. The other thing is that I asked them like 5 times exactly what breeds the parents are or if they have any info or pics on that at all. No answer. I'm getting really sketched out and I'm thinking about just going to a breeder at this point. How do I know this dog isn't going to grow into a Saint Bernard? They said 10-15lbs but I feel like they are being REALLY shady. They said a couple from Maine adopted on of them already without even meeting it and paypaled them the $275.
I don't want to give them any money without meeting it first. Is it me or is this starting to sound like a scam?

The place is Companions for Life in Conneticut.
We decided we are not going to adopt through them- I am just not comfortable with it.
