I am so not a good SAHM....Shout out to SAHMs and single moms!
Well, school is out and I am home. DH is traveling for the past three weeks and I am wiped!
The twins are sucking the life out of me! My MIL and my mom are also on vacation, so it is just me! I really have a new appreciation for SAHMs. Today kicked my butt. James was up most of the night and when he finally did fall asleep, Claire was up. I was running on empty all day. I actually fell asleep on the phone with one of my friends!
DH finally returns home late Thursday night! I cannot wait!

I have a DH who travels for business as well. My IL's are local but they travel to my OOS SIL's all the time.
Can I make a suggestion for the future that might make your life easier?
We have "blackout dates" on our family calendar and the IL's calendar. This will be especially important when I go back to work... if the DC's get sick I need back up child care.
When DH plans a business trip, IL's are notified and whenever possible they "blackout" those days, they don't travel far ffrom home and are on "standby". When they travel, have theater tickets, etc. they notify us and I write it on our calendar so I know they aren't available.
Oh, you should see the calendar for Sept when I return to work DH has three trips, the entire month is black out days
