Suggestions for LIFamilies
I would love to see:
A Vendors Helping Families Board
I've recently been asking around for recommendations for landscapers and hardwood floor refinishing...it would be great to have a board just like the vendors helping brides board on LIW....
any other suggestions ladies??

Weekender thread where we could talk about things to so or do over the weekend...maybe include places of interest around the tri-state area to see

Not really though...what if it talked about an exhibit to check out this weekend in some town in Nassau...you would think to go go the travel board for that?

Do you think we could ask them to bid on various jobs on the site as well - like we are redoing a bathroom and would be curious about pricing on various project. As an expansion, do you think there could be some way to have others rate their experiences with various vendors so we can use the feedback in making choices?

i don't think bidding publicly is a good idea...
all communication w/ regards to quotes, etc, could be done thru fm, as they are on LIW..

 that was cute. But I think a tv board or movie board would be cool since most of the LIW threads ended up be talked about over and over and over again.

also, i think the fonts on the board topics need to be bolder...they blend in too much...on LIW, the topics kinda "pop" and stand out more...

*Send to "Top" link
*Chat Lingo
Three Suggestions:
*Buddy list - Petition.. lol
*Hide the password (And one thing I find weird, is that our password isn't hidden. I keep my computer logged onto LIW (now LIF) all day, that I feel exposed anyone that touches my pc can get it easily.)
*Allow to insert at Cursor Blink (instead of having to copy/paste the smiley/image/text from the very bottom of the text area).

Ron, can you do anything about this...??
there's a BIG difference between how the LIW and LIF boards look.....I just think the lines around the topics, and the letters too should be darker so they stand out more...
