It's official...
I am now OBSESSED with Twilight. I read about 11 pages yesterday and wondered what the big deal was. Then I sat on the LIRR today and read 110 pages each way. Oh my GOD. I can't believe I even put it down long enough to type this!!!
Back to reading. This bodes ill for my productivity...

It's an addiction!!!!!! I told me husband when Breaking Dawn comes out on AUg 2nd I am going at midnight to get it. He thinks I am insane.

No, not scary -- suspenseful, though. And... I think I've fallen in love with one of the characters. Luckily, DH understands.

Sam, you will NOT be able to put these books down. Seriously... I'm on p. 296 now, and I was on 11 when I left the house yesterday. They are ADDICTING. It reminds me a little of what I was like when I would read Harry Potter (though nothing will ever quite match THAT level of intensity and addiction for me, I'm sure).

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I think I'm going to end up doing it, too... and even scarier is that I do NOT think MY husband will be in the least surprised. He's come to expect these things of me, or something...

My husband decided to read the books after I wouldn't stop talking about them and now he is obsessed too! We're going to have to buy two copies at the midnight release so we can read at the same time.

oh i totally agree. These are the best books EVER. and im 33 years old. LOL. i read the first 3 books in less then a week. I am in Love with jacob. yes i am. not ashamed to say it.  . I got my sister addicted to these books as well. My dh doesnt get it. He thinks i have lost my mind.

they are not vampire ish at all. Its a love story book believe it or not. There is no gore or anything like that.

It is a series. The title of the first one is Twilight, and then there (will be) three more. The last one is coming out August 2nd.
And for the record, I'm more than halfway through New Moon (the second one), and if it's even POSSIBLE... I'm even more hooked than before. Thank GOD I discovered these right before the last one is due to come out. I don't think I'd be able to wait much longer than a couple of weeks (which is what it will be at the rate I'm reading.)
Oh, and for the record... DH started Twilight today. He's more than 300 pages in. (He knew his mother and I would kill him if he didn't.)

This is the first time I've ever discovered a series at the right time like this one. (I'm almost 100 pages into Eclipse right now.) DH is onto New Moon, and he keeps teasing me that he doesn't know how I'm going to make the two weeks until August 2nd. I have to keep REMINDING him that I managed to wait for every. single. Harry. Potter. book. to come out. As I said to him... so there.
