Refusing all baby food? Have you tried different types? Try some home made pear or peach puree (look online for instructions). I sure hope there is something your baby will take. My 9 month old eats jarred baby food, some home made baby food and rice cereal. He eats more on some days than others. He is not crazy about oatmeal but I want to try it again. We are moving into more textures and small solids. He has no teeth yet but the Dr. said to try. My baby needs to put on some weight but they said that will still come mostly from formula. Good luck.

Not totally refusing but we basically have to bribe her to eat with puffs. She wants whatever we have on our plate, which is fine, yet,no teeth and we are so afraid of choking. She will eat her baby food just fights us.

Re: 9 month olds--FOOD
we skipped baby food. My 9 month old eats everything we eat (minus things with honey and nuts) just cut up into small pieces. She isn't picky. She loves all food! I let her feed herself. She eats untill she is full, I don't measure it. If she finishes what I given her and still seems hungry I will give her a little more.

they don't need teeth to eat. You don't use the front teeth (which my 9 month old only has the 8 front teeth) to chew. You use the back for that. If you can crush the food between your fingers then they can crush it with their gums.

Re: 9 month olds--FOOD
My DS is pretty much over Baby food, Now i just use it when we are on the run. Otherwise he gets to eat what we eat. I keep the food processor on my counter now, so I can grind up the chicken or steak or whatever. Meats he is not so great about chewing up, but everything else he chews well.
Pancakes eggs french toast grilled cheese veggies fruits Pastina mac and cheese hamburger Yogurt
etc..etc..

Re: 9 month olds--FOOD
Today the ped said that because DD has 6 teeth she can eat anything we eat (except honey of course). She said to make sure that the size is NO BIGGER than the baby's pinky fingernail and to feed her 1 tablespoon of it. So for example if we give her chicken we have to cut up the pieces and then she would get one tablespoon of that. I'm not sure if it would be the same for you if your DC has no teeth though. Good Luck!
