I had an appt with my regular MD and she said my BP was high. Probably to the point where I will need to be checked pretty regularly.

Now I was born by emergency C-Section b/c my mom had toxemia/pre-eclampsia. Does anybody know if this condition is genetic?

I know my mom was able to pretty much do normal stuff until it got to the point they decided to deliver me. I know she was on bp med though.

I'm hoping I'm not on the same road. I'm really worried. I'm sure my BP is going up the more I think about.
