Kraupners Pharmacy

Has anyone had issues with them? When I called to schedule delivery, they almost charged my card with someone elses order. Then something told me to call to verify my delivery today and sure enough, they did not have me down. Then she said "oh yes, you wanted me to take out the needles and siringes, right?" I was like "No." Good thing I called, as I did not work today to be here for all this.

I've never used them but I have heard others complain about them... Just keep on them!

I used them a few years ago and things were fine. This cycle was ridiculous! Each time they delivered, they were late, missing items, etc.

OMG! I thought I was the only one. I even did a search on here and everyone praised them so I never said anything!

THEY WERE AWFUL!!!! There were so many problems but the biggest one was....they were using my husband's insurance for everything when I specifically told them I had new insurance!!! I even gave the girl the new card number and everything. Thank goodness I checked into it before they sent the meds. I only needed a couple of things and they quoted me a price of over $200!!! By the time I was done with them, it ended up being only $80!

And the fights I had with them to get this resolved was just ridiculous.

I also hate how they charge for syringes! When I did my first cycle in 2005, I used a different pharmacy and they threw them in for free. Heck, I was buying over $3000 in meds. It was nice of them to do that. But not Kraupners. They even wanted to charge me for a sharps container!

I had to go over my order with them, item by item. I wanted to know exactly what they were sending and how much it was. It was an awful experience.

Then, once that got ironed out, the delivary problems started.

I've only had one delivery from them and didn't have a problem.

I only have used them once for my Ovridel trigger last week. They seemed a little scatter brained there. They called me for my insurance info and then said they would call me by 3 to schedule delivery. When they didn't call by 4:30 I called back and "reminded" them. I get the feeling they require a lot of follow-up.

I only used them once for my trigger. I was annoyed because I always got the trigger at Stony Brook Pharmacy (but they were out when I needed it), who always filled it generically and Kraupners filled it with name brand Ovidrel so it cost me a lot more money.

The delivery was fine though.

ETA: I had to call them a bunch of times during the day about whether my insurance went through. They kept telling me call back, call back. How come everywhere else I get prescriptions filled insurance goes through in a matter of seconds?

I've used them a few times, just seems like you need to call back to confirm since they don't call you back. They did deliver all the items and have everything right.

More recently I've been using Rockville Centre Pharmacy and they have been very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

I've had two deliveries from them. The first was fine.

The second (this past Tuesday) didn't get delivered until 10:30pm! I was afraid the stupid Follistim wouldn't come. Their webpage advertises after hours order tracking, but gave no further info and there wasn't even a recording when I called. It just rang and rang.

They failed to change my address in their computer when I told them to. I live in Lindenhurst, NY not Lyndhurst, NJ.

They charged me incorrectly also. I was supposed to pay the cash price for my Follistim ($1278) and they gave me the discounted rate ($779). While I appreciate the savings - I can't get reimbursed by insurance if I pay the lower rate (the stupidest thing ever!). So I called them the next day and asked that they charge me another $499 and send me a receipt for the entire thing.

My RE is going to write my Rx for next cycle in the middle of this one, so I can use the TelDrug thing from my insurance company and avoid having to lay out the $$ and use Kraupners.

I used them for all 3 of my cycles and all 3 times they would sc rew up! I even asked to talk to the owner. He was very apologetic and gave me his home phone number in case it happened again. Ask to speak to the owner. He threw in some free syrnges and needles.

Wow...I've used them for more than ten cycles and haven't had one problem.

I HATE Krupners. If I have to go through this again I will not be using them! They require A LOT of follow up! I hope they got your order right though

My first delivery from them was missing stuff, so my nurse actually called and told them what was missing. They called me to confirm that I was missing the Novarel and the doxycyclene.

When the delivery came, it was a giganic bag. They basically refilled the ENTIRE order again and charged me for it.

I called them and we went over it AGAIN, and I took out the stuff I needed and they came and picked up everything else and credited back my credit card for the rest.

Since then, the few refills I've needed have been fine. So, I'm kind of neutral on them...

You know what i thought they were ridiculous this cycle also.. I ahd set up delivery for a thursday, b/c i would be home and on weds. i got a voicemail from the driver that he was @ my front door & no one was answering!!!! Maybe they are getting too busy!
