Stupid ? Re: midnight releases and pre-orders
I have never been to a midnight release of a book before.
I pre-ordered a copy of the book, but they do not take payment. So what exactly does this mean? Do they have people with pre-orders get on a separate line from people that don't? I guess I just don't get how they work the combo of people that did/did not pre-order.
I am thinking of getting another copy of the book I pre-ordered (one for DH, one for myself.) If I pre-ordered one copy, should I go and pre-order a second to make things less confusing that night?
Am I totally making this more confusing than it is?

I preordered too. I think they will probably have a separate line like you said. When I did this for Harry Potter last year, they gave out color coded bracelets for the people who had already preordered. Anyone who had not preordered had to get in the back of the line. As of now, the place I am going to is not doing bracelets so you just have to get there really early if you want to be at the front of the line.

The Barnes & Noble just had me right down my name on a slip of paper. I'd better get my book if I am going to be there at midnight!!!
