The Boy in the Striped Pajamas - John Boyne
So I just finished this one as well.. and OMG.. it was so sad..
it's the story told through the eyes of a 9 year old boy who's family lives in Berlin and his father works as a Commandant for Hitler and they move to Auswitch (please forgive my spelling if it's incorrect) and how the little boy, Bruno forms a friendship with a little boy Shmuel on the other side of the "fence"... it was heartbreaking
