Jenny Craig Day 2-For anyone who was interested

So it's going pretty well, for everyone who was interested, I'll tell you how day 1 went.

I had the french toast and berries for breakfast and milk-very yummy

Then they tell you to have one of their Anytime Bars-VERY VERY GROSS! I hate those type of protein bars and I just refuse to eat something that I don't like, so I was told I can substitute with yogurt, fine.

Lunch was Beef Lo Mein-it was eh.....very small portion, way smaller than I am used to for lunch, which I make my biggest meal of the day.

I MAY switch my lunches and dinners.

I had a piece of fruit for a snack.
Steamed stringbeans for a snack.

Dinner was chicken carbonara and pasta-very yummy!!!

Lastly I had a smores bar-so gooood! and I don't really like sweets too much....

The big thing for me is getting used to the portions, it's amazing what a proper portion is compared to what I usually eat......this will be my biggest hurdle.....

If it's any help, my mom was really successful with Jenny. After a few weeks she had a good idea of which foods she liked.

Good luck and good for you!

Thank you!
I had them send me a sampler set for the first 2 weeks, and I mark next to the item on the calendar whether it was good, eh, or gross!!!!

Good for you!

I did Jenny Craig last year and I was very successful with it. (lost 30 lbs) I had to go off of it due to high blood pressure ( pre-existing before Jenny!)

I can tell you it gets easier...and the food overall is very good. For lunches have a big garden salad with your meal..that helps..and I brought a bunch of those steam fresh vegetables and would have them with all my dinners with 2 tablespoons of margarine ...made the meals seem larger.

GOOD LUCK!
