Girls, I need your help - Updated w/ pic!!!
Yesterday, 8dp3dt (eight days after my embryo transfer for IVF), I got a BFP on a digital pregnancy test! I tested later in the day (not FMU) with a dollar tree test, and got the FAINTEST line. This morning, I tested again, and the digital came up pregnant and the dollar tree, again, with the faintest line (almost invisible, but there). What gives? Can I trust the results? I am worried this isn't "real"! Did any of you have this problem when you tested and got your BFP?

CONGRATS!!! The dollar store tests were beyond faint for me literally for a week after I got a positive on my digital, if the digital confirmed it you're Pregnant!!!!!!

I also did IVF. I stated with the dollar store tests and got nothing, moved onto EPT and stated to get the faint line went to digital 2x and got the BFP. GOOD LUCK!!!

Don't digitals require more of the HCG hormone? If so, how are we getting BFP with those, and VERY faint lines w/ the others (that don't require as much HCG)? This is driving me crazy!!

Do yourself a favor and go by some other tests like first response....
I did IVF too and the dollar tree ones just werent as realiable.

I started will the dollar store tests and got nothing, then moved onto the EPT ones with the faint line, but I still was not sure that is why I went to the digital. Try not to make yourself crazy, I know its really hard.

CONGRATULATIONS!! The digital test are the most sensitive IMO. And for the Dollar Tree tests- a line is a line!! Welcome to the board!!

I tested with a digital at night on 8dpo and get my BFP!
A line is a line and if it says PREGNANT then you are- CONGRATULATIONS!!! And WELCOME to the board

A line is a line. It's doesn't matter how faint. I got very faint lines 2 days in a row and then confirmed the BFP with a digital on th 3rd day.

Agreed! My cheapie tests showed the faintest of faint lines, but an Answer brand with the same urine was undeniably BFP. The cheap tests just aren't as sensitive & the lines take much longer to get dark.

although i did get the faintest line imaginable on the dollar test, it took a long time to get dark
