Wow.. just stumbled on this board..
I didnt relaize there were so many Twilight fans!!!!!!!
I am frekkin obsessed with that series!!
Anyway, I just finished reading THE HOST last night and I thought it was great too! I literally sobbed for the last like 4 or 5 chapters (but that may be the pregnancy hormones).
Anyway Im counting down to next Sat with you guys!!!

My MIL read it and said it made her cry too! (I think you don't have to blame pregnancy hormones.  )

i read it. I honestly didnt like it. It took me a month to get through the book. Meanwhile i got through the whole twilight series in about a week. The Host just seemed to drag and drag. Twilight is very fast paced and keep you on your toes. I still love this author though and will read all her books in the future.

Welcome!
I did read The Host. It is nowhere even close to as good as the Twilight Saga, but I am glad I read it. By the end, I loved it, but it took half way through the book for me to get into it. She has I believe 2 follow up books to The Host planned.
