Re: quick question aboujt whne you write an AIM for alesson

My AIM is usually a question on the board that students should be able to answer at the end of the lesson. What you wrote would be my objectives.

Aim
Ex: While reading a story, how do we make predictions?

Objective: Students will be able to make predictions while reading.

I always write the aim as a question and the objectives as "students will be able to ..."

in the city we write "LO's" (learning objectives)

must include a skill and a strategy... what you want them to learn, and how you want them to do it.

ex: make predictions by using prior knowledge and text evidence.

When I taught in the city the administration always checked for "teaching points" which as the previous poster wrotei is the skill and strategy Ex: The students will make predictions by using the pictures in the story as clues.[

Re: quick question aboujt whne you write an AIM for alesson

I always have my aims written as a question, usually starting with "how..." or "why..."
