Introducing myself
Hi there--I spent a lot of time on LI Weddings last year but never thought "hey, I bet there's a family/pregnancy forum" when I got pregnant earlier this year. Here I am now. I'm 32 weeks pregnant with a little girl and live in the Babylon Village area. I'm 41 years old and this is my first baby. (Yep, 41 and havin' a baby.) I also have a sixteen-year-old stepson who is with us two weekends a month. He's a great kid. My husband and i have been married just over a year. I wouldn't have minded waiting and just enjoyed being married for a while, but when you get married at age 40 you can't wait too long to have a baby. I had no problems getting pregnant though--boy, it was a good thing I always was really careful with birth control earlier in my life! I got pregnant the very first month we tried. I'm very, very happy to be pregnant and I can't wait to meet my daughter. Also can't wait for the pregnancy to be over.  I'm still working--I'm a book editor in Manhattan--and I plan on going back to work after a 13 week maternity leave. My husband works at Brookhaven Lab.
That's about all I can think of!

Hi Pencils!!!!!!!!! Congrats we were on the 07 brides board together too on liweddings. Im 34 wks pregnant with a little boy. We got married 11/24 of 2007-The best day of my life!!!!!!
