How do I change Peditricians?
I need a new one first cause we moved to suffolk and second because her current Dr. is so cold and seems like I bother him. It's not just me my sister uses him too and feels the same. Right now DD is sick and I want to take her to someone else, but without her medical records will a new peditrician who has never seen her see her for a sick visit?

you can go to the new peds and just have them request your records from your old one. also make sure you inform your insurance so that when the new peds charges you it doesn't bounce back.

When we switched pediatricians my the new doctor specifically told me not to hesitate to call and bring DS in if he was sick - that he would see him without a problem. It's was just that he couldn't do a well-visit (immunizations) until he had the records.
