fresh fruit and veggies in Mineola area
Where do you get your fresh fruit and veggies from? I feel like the grocery stores are way overpriced and don't know where I should go around here... thanks in advance!!

I'm a big fan of Western Beef for pretty much everything!
You MUST try their Italian bread, fresh baked...sooooooo good!

Really? I've never ventured there and always toss their flyers. Is it clean? It didn't strike me as that when I drive past...

that's good to know!
I don't generally buy my groceries there...
Definitely meat, huge selection and the prices and quality are far better than a regular supermarket
Their produce is good and less $$ than the supermarket as well.
The place is clean, lots of Spanish and Portuguese shop there.
I thought my mom was crazy for shopping there too, until I tried the bread, Fan-Freakin-tastic!!!!!!
They have Boar's Head too, but they take so longI just get it at the deli by me.
You can also try H Mart on Jericho in the Positanos shopping center....

I haven't tried it yet but how about the farmer's market that is held once a week at the Mineola court house.
