TMI...
Okay, I know you're supposed to lay on your back for 20 to 30 mins with a pillow under your tush... we even BD at night so I can pass out after (even though I'm prone to UTI's so I'm really supposed to go pee after)... Anyway... the next morning I feel like he comes out of me the second I stand up. It's just nasty and I want them to keep swimming...

the initial "release" gets to where it needs to go, then you will have the leftovers.. those sperm are dead anyway

LOL! Glad I'm not the only one. I dread standing up later after BD. I get up and have that feeling (you know the one where the "stuff" starts coming out). Yuck! I make that face and tell DH... your boys aren't doing a good swimming job. Damn Gravity!

yea i know the feeling!!
but the last time i got pregnant, i never lied down afterwards and always got right up and obviously it was never a problem!!
like i said, its leftovers!!

From what I heard, the sperm leave the semen and swim into your CM...that's why when you're fertile it's of EW consistency. It's okay if it comes out. It always happened to me as well and I have a

oh I know its so gross. Even though a lot comes out, more goes in then you are aware of..........don'g worry. Nature gets the swimmers where they need to be. Fast. Its very quick. Anything that slides after is no good anymore anyway.
Everything will get where it needs to go.....

Please don't quote ... I'll erase this. Not sure why i'm on this board. I must be thinking about #2 soon. But, just to let you know that the laying down/standing up thing doesn't work. #1 wasn't exactly planned, and afterwards, i literally got up, went to the bathroom and started jumping up and down to try and get the rest out. 9 months later ... there DD was! Best mistake I ever made!

I agree. I wouldn't worry about the "leftovers." I'm not sure how much lying in bed for 30 minutes afterwards helps. The initial release is really what matters.
