Has anyone been to Bobby's Burger Palace Yet?
I am curious to see how the food is . . . I haven't gotten there yet.

Yes!! It was very good, we ordered lunch from there last week, I had a cheeseburger with bacon. Not all that thrilled withe fries but the onion rings were very good.

I haven't tried it yet but someone told me yesterday that the food was just ok but that the service was horrible. And you wait a while for your food.
I do however still want to try it for myself.

DH and I went there last night and it was great. I had a turkey burger with potato chips on it and it was very yummy, DH had one of the more creative burgers and he loved it. I thought the fries were really good too. The milkshake was the best shake I have ever had.
The service was good too, our food was out in about 5-6 minutes.

I am still waiting to try it. Is it very crowded? Is there only a counter to sit at or do you just have to wait at the counter for your food and then find a different seat?

we just went tonight!
OMG I'm happy it's close by  the meat is very high quality, the french fries and onion rings are perfectly done (not greasy at all)... the fries come with a pink sauce (that I think contains mayo, roasted red peppers and smoked paprika?)...
I had an LA burger.... it was angus beef, avocado mush, watercress, and cheese. there are also several handdone condiments (chipotle ketchup, and a miricle sauce called 'burger sauce). DH had a buffalo burger (blue cheese and buffalo wing sauce) and really liked it too.
I didn't have one of their infamous shakes, though.... we'll have to go back for that

It wasn't crowded when we went. There were people there but we didn't have to wait on a crazy line or anything.
There are several tables and a s-shaped counter that goes across the front of the restaurant. You order by the door when you walk in and then they bring your order to where ever you are sitting.

We were just talking about this place at work the other day, two of my co-workers have been there and they both raved about it.
They particularly liked the shakes.
Other notable things...
The menu is a la carte.
An order of fries is good for two people, same thing with the onion rings.
You place your order at the counter and then get a number and they serve you at your table
That's all I can think of right now.

We went last night and both had the Crunchburger and split fries and onion rings. Thought the service was very good and the food was fine.

How is it compared to American Roadside Burger? I had American Roadside for the first time today and it was phenomenal. Their sweet potato fries are ridiculous.

We went tonight and loved it! We both had a crunch burger, DH had fries and I had the hot potato chips, and we got a cola shake and a dark chocolate shake.
We waited a little while to get in and order but once we sat the food came pretty quickly. It was worth the wait!

That is awesome. I am hopinf to meet him there one day.
We tried it on Sunday and liked it.
I have the Bobby Blue Burger (I think that is what it is called) It had blue cheese crumbles and bacon on it. My DH had the Miami burger which I tried and liked also. It is a cuban sandwich with a burger patty on it. It had ham, swiss, pickles, mustard and was pressed like a panini.
We shared the hot potato chips with blue cheese sauce and the onion rings.
We will definitely go back.

better than roadside, to me Roadside is more like fast food.

I went there yesterday. You can pick beef, turkey, or chicken breast for all the burgers. Hubby had a classic burger with french fries and a soda (free refills). I had the LA burger (I picked turkey) which has melted cheddar, avocado relish , and watercress. For a turkey burger it was pretty juicy. I also got the hot potato chips (they come with a hot blue cheese dressing) and a soda. We paid $25--we ordered, paid, took the number to where we sat, and the food came out quick. Next time, we will split fries , get one soda, and a shake.
