Miami Dolphins sign Chad Pennington
I am a big Chad Pennington fan.
I am so upset over this. Him playing for the Dolphins would be like David Wright playing for the Yankees. I am not a big Brett Farve fan too. I am going to have a hard time rooting JETS this year.  Article
ETA: Parcells is the one who signed him.

It was either Miami or Herm Edwards was going to scoop him up.
Honestly, I love Chad. I think he's a great guy, team motivator and is extremely intelligent. Unfortunately he just doesn't have the arm to go with the rest of the package. I really hope that he's successful b/c I do like him.
However, in the end I'm a die hard Jet fan and hope that Favre wipes the floor with him (bad Lori, bad Lori LOL).

my best friend is a diehard Miami Dolphins fan as well, so I was talking to him about this.
Yes, he doesn't have the arm, but I always said he had the mind of a good QB. And he's an upgrade from what the Dolphins had.
There are many cases where a player can't get it together with one team, and shines with another. Miami is much more laid back than NY. Not a ton of pressure - this may be just what he and the Dolphins need to make something happen.

my DH is a HUGE miami Dolphin fan and he is NOT happy about it.. he hates Chad.. and i keep laughing at him... its great!!

He is a nice guy but as a Jets fan I must say I won't miss seeing him ending every exciting drive with an interception.
I wish him luck.
And going to the Dolphins isn't AS bad as if he went to the Pats!

That is true.
I feel that b/c he left NY is he going to do awesome in Miami. Like when mediocre players leave the Mets and become stars somewhere else.
OH, and about Brett Farve's arm...isn't anyone concerned about his age? Injuries?
He seems like a pompous azz to me.
He told Mangini that he has not run laps in 10 years.  Well too bad! He does not get the NY'ers are WAY more demanding than the cheese heads in Green Bay. I mean the ONLY way that Eli Manning redeemed himself was to WIN A SUPER BOWL for NY. I do not think Farve gets it. KWIM?
