Re: Spa recommendations for prenatal massages
I went to Rain Day Spa and had a fellow LIF-er (andreaLMT) do my prenatal massage. She was AWESOME!
I also LOVE Nordstrom Spa but to get an appointment takes forever.

I'm also looking to get one. Does Rain use the tables with the belly cut-out or do they have you lay on your side??
To the OP, I've also heard that Joseph Christopher Salon in Bellmore does good ones, but don't know from experience.

At Rain, she had me lay on these foam things that suspended me above the table...totally comfortable and you can lay on your stomach without actually laying on your stomach...KWIM?

Ok, I was just concerned with all the weight of my belly just hanging there and pulling on my back. Thanks!

Someone recommended Spa Castle, in College Point, to me, and I have yet to go to it. It's not too expensive, but there are plenty of spa choices, and it looks amazing on the website. I plan on going there after the baby is born.

I wasn't uncomfortable and my belly was supported.

Not sure how far you are willing to travel, but I had a pregnancy massage at the Spa at East Wind . It was fantastic. I loved it!! Highly recommend!

Spa Castle does not do Prenatal massages. I was just there this weekend.
I am going to get a prenatal massage at Sandlewood Day Spa in Massapequa next month. It is only $80 for 60 min. They also have a Mother-to-be package for $180 that includes the massage/a facial & parrafin foot treatment.

I can recommend Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Spa in Garden City. I had a massge about 5 weeks ago and it was great.
