spread for afternoon get-together
Hi ladies, I need help.
A bunch of friends are coming over to see my new house for the first time. I want to put out a nice lunch spread to distract them from the fact that my paint is peeling and the floors haven't been refinished yet 
I am so not a cook. My husband usually cooks for us, but he won't be around to help me out that day. What are some things I could whip together, besides cold cuts , that aren't too complicated but are delicious and somewhat impressive? Please send some ideas and/or recipes my way. Thank you!

a variety of salads- pasta salad, potato salad, tossed salad
antipasto platter- olives, proscuitto, artichoke hearts, salami etc
snacks- bruschetta, tortilla chips with dips, pretzels
desserts- mini-cheesecakes, brownies, fruit salad

YUM is this what we are having tomorrow? I am bringing my appetite! scratch the prosciutto though cause we cant have it!!!! (Preggers)
