when did you find out the sex?
For those of you who wanted to know ahead of time the sex of your baby, how far along were you when they were able to tell you? I am in my 19th week and have an appt a week from Tues for my level 2 sono and they say they might be able to tell us then. But that if its a girl they may not be able to give 100% answer? what were your experiences? we are dying to know and will be disappointed if they cant tell us at that next appt. :(

aww congrats Moe - on finding out about your baby girl! were they able to assure you 100% that its a girl?? were you exactly 20 weeks when you had this sono? thanks for your info!

We're fiding out feb. 1, I'll be 20 weeks then. I was told they would tell us then.
ETA: I was told that if it is a girl, they knew already from my last sono because they can see the ovaries. Don't know how true this is, but I heard they can tell most of the time that early.

thats funny. I heard that if it was a boy they would have been able to tell at my last sono haha. I really dont know what/who to believe because I keep hearing different things. We did ask them at the last sono and they said it was too early to tell.

I had my level II sono at 20w2d and the sono tech told me she was 99% sure it was a girl. I haven't seen my doc since I had that sono done, but next time I go for my monthly, I'm going to ask him what he sees in the pics as well

We had our level II at 18 weeks and all looked great except she had her legs crossed and we couldn't tell for sure if she was a girl. What a lady we have, keeping her legs crossed 
The sono tech felt bad knowing how anxious we were to be sure of the sex that she told us come back at 20 weeks. Sure enough we got a peek and yup, she's a gal
We went again at 30 weeks to measure my cervix and her and asked again so she's still a girl right  We have another sono this week (32 weeks) and I am sure we will ask again

I had my Level II at 21 weeks 1 day (which was Friday) and we found out we are having a boy.

I went for my Level II at 19 weeks and they couldn't tell
I go back Thursday so hopefully we can see something. I was so upset leaving there because it seems like everyone finds out at the Level II

I found out at my sonogram at 20 weeks. They told me it was a
A sonogram is not 100% accurate. That is correct, but it is correct most of the time. I had an unexpected sonogram at 25 weeks and the doctor told me it was definitelyl a girl.

wow! I was under the impression that you could only see boy parts or lack of them - you could actually see 3 holes when you found out it was a girl??
