BRATT diet
Anyone ever on the Bratt Diet? For those that have no idea what that is, it means
Bananas
Rice
Applesauce
Toast
Tea
I have been eating like this since last tuesday afternoon.
i am not happy...and I am starving.

I think you're only supposed to eat that when you've got a stomach virus and can't keep anything else down...

I have something weird going on with my stomach and I am not sure what is making it hurt, so I have been eating this way till I went to the doctor, and I am going to the doctor this week.

Agreed, my mom is a gastro nurse. She said you are only supposed to eat this diet if you can't keep anything down, ie you are vomiting or have diarrhea. If you've been in that state since last Tuesday, I think you should get to the doctor ASAP.

This is what you should stick to when you have a stomach virus! I have never heard of it as an actual "diet" though. These things are supposed to be easier to keep down and give you the nutrients you need when throwing up/diarhea

He and I both think I may be lactose intolerant. He said to not eat dairy and to eat regularly and to see how I feel. If I start to feel bad again without eating dairy then to call him and then he will have to take the next step....Which would probably be an endoscopy.
