Nervous about Epidural Injection
I am getting an epidural injection in my neck/shoulder on Friday.
I am sort of nervous because I am thinking it is going to hurt.
If you have had one before can you explain the procedure?
How bad did it hurt?
Were you able to do things after it or were you instructed to lay around?

Not myself, but my mom had them recently. She never complained of any pain. I 'think' she had local anesthesia. She got the injections in her neck/shoulder area. She was in for an hour or so and I had to drive her home- she just rested for a couple hours afterwards.
