Which brand of crushed tomatoes do you find tastiest??
I heard it makes a big difference in the sauce, so I was wondering which brand you all prefer?
I bought Muir Glen, I though I read a recommendation somewhere about their taste.

Late,y I have been loving Riezi.
WHen it says San Marzano on the can, they are a better quality tomato.

hands down==scalfani tomatoes. I jar them and so does my MIL when I used these she cannot tell the diff..can't get better proof then that.

We make homemade sauce from fresh tomatoes and jar it...but if for any reason we need to make sauce using crushed tomatoes, we always use Tuttorosso....

yep, me too.... love that brand. I mix their tomato puree and crushed tomatoes when I make sauce.
