Re: plus size.... starting out
I didn't start out a twig by any means, and I only shop at Motherhood.
Why not just shop there? Their stuff definitely is NOT frumpy.

Re: plus size.... starting out
In the beginning, I went up a size and bought Lane Bryant clothes. When they didn't fit anymore I went to the Motherhood Outlet in Riverhead and bought a bunch of things there. I don't think the clothes are frumpy in either store.
ETA: Wherever you buy your clothes now, being plus sized, just get them a size or two bigger.

Re: plus size.... starting out
It's frustrating, isn't it? Especially when you look at the "regular" sizes on the Motherhood site. They can't make all those cute things with a larger pattern???
I've gotten all of my maternity clothes from JCPenney (online), Old Navy and Lane Bryant. A few things from Target, but their XXL runs a little small in some things.

Re: plus size.... starting out
Honestly there isn't much - I used Lane bryant, Motherhood at the source for jeans a few tops (didn't like at a lot of what they had), I did find one cute dress I loved at JC Penny's but didn't like some of their fabrics. I got a few tops and sweaters from Old Navy.
