Not sure if this is the right board but has anyone had any experience buying from jewelryexchange.com? The prices are amazing and I've read some good reviews but get the feeling it's too good to be true. Seems pretty unrealistic you can get a decent 1+ carat diamond for under $2,000. Is the quality really bad?

I did not order from the website..but I live in TX and they have a store, this is where my husband bought my wedding ring and loose diamond they have really great quality diamonds and then of course they have the ones that are not so great quality that are cheaper you just have to know what your suppose to look for when you go. We took the ring in for an apprasial for the insurance company and it appraised for almost double for what he paid for it. So yes I would say they do have great deals.

Do you think the pricing is the same online vs. the stores? I would love to be able to see the pieces in person but wonder if they charge more since there's sales associates involved.

I think if you go to the website and put in the store that you would like to shop, it will pull the inventory up for that store and you should be able to go in and look at that particular diamond, I would think it should be the same price but I am not sure...they may even transfer stock from another store if they don't have what you are looking for. I do know they will not refund for purchases...only exchanges. They also have a great deal on up- grades I think they give you like 80% of what you pd for the diamond and you can put it towards another one.
