Personal Trainer Prices
Hello all - was hoping for some input on prices - I am looking for a trainer to work out with at my gym at my development - emailed a couple of people on craigslist and have started getting responses - what do you think of $50 a session? Again, this is not through a gym, so I'd expect prices a little lower than what you'd pay at a gym, and I'm in Florida, if that makes it a little cheaper compared to NY (don't know)
The one who quoted $50 a session does a variety of sessions - can work out at your own gym, can work out two outdoor locations he uses for boot camp style training (park, beach), or you can work out a gym he has an affiliation with. Need to confirm how long a session is but I assume it's an hour. He said he typically works with people once a week and gives them a workout they can do the rest of the week on their own. He also provides diet and nutritional overhaul/help.
Any thoughts on price?

i'm in NJ and worked w/ a PT in the local YMCA.
the Y charges $45 per 1 hour session.
$50 per session is a great price.

I have paid anywhere from that (10 years ago)
to $90 at NYSC

That is a VERY good price!
I pay $73 per hour at a gym (NYHRC).

I think I paid in the $60 range. Having a personal trainer is great, I wish I could afford to keep it up.
