Was anyone else tortured with bullsh*t PD ALL day today?
Seriously, I sat through the same exact workshops that they gave on the June PD day AND last August's as well. Torture.

I was thinking the same exact thing! At least we got about 3 hours (broken up) to do some work in our rooms.

We have a new principal this year so we got to hear for FOUR hours sitting in an unconditioned auditorium everything that is wrong with our school and how he is going to fix it  Then we got to do PD....

I fight this every year! We do NO PD on day 1. Tomorrow, I am doing a 40 minute PD and then we have a faculty meeting for an hour and then the rest of the day to do stuff! I love it! It makes for such a smoother start to the school year!
