Sauna or Steam Room

Can someone tell me the difference between the two? I have been in both but dont understand what benifits one holds over the other.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Sauna is dry heat and steam room is a room that fills with steam, so it's more of a wet heat. I prefer the steam room because I like the benefits of the steam on my pores and skin. It also has exfoliating properties, but I think most benefits are due to sweating out the toxins in your body which can be accomplished by either sauna or steam room.
