Second Trimester
Anyone else suffer from heart flutters in their second trimester? Not your heart racing...more like flip flops....
Thanks

Re: Second Trimester
yup..... I got that before I was pregnant...a lot of times its not even your heart...even though you think it is....
I used to be in teh medical profession and I would throw my self on an EKG everytime I felt it at work adn everythign was fine.
I would still mention it to your practitioner and run it by them but its normal!!!
If you start having chest pain, difficulty breathing, dizziness or any other symptom wit that feeling call your MD ASAP!!

Re: Second Trimester
Thank you!!!
In the past month I have been for cardiograms, an echo, wore a holter monitor and even an event monitor for 2 weeks but the cardiologist keeps saying everything was fine. I do have mitral valve prolapse since I was 16 and once in awhile before I got pregnant I remember getting a heart flutter very rarely but nothing like this.... it is scary..

Re: Second Trimester
Yes, but this is something I had before PG. I also had to wear a holter monitor they said the "flutter" is within normal range. If your dr. said not to worry I would trust him. XOXOXO BOTB
