Honestly, its funny that you should post this because I've been wanting to put up a post about how much i HATE MINE. I've had SO MANY problems with it - I can't stand it. I seriously wonder all the time why no one else ever complains!

I got a mini ipod for Mother's Day. I really love mine. I'm still getting use to it. But, it is something new to figure out and I am enjoying the challenge. I love the idea that I can put all my cds on it. I just bought an adaptor for my car. It is great!

I love mine!
I have it hooked up to the stereo we have in the living room - with the surround sound, and it works great!
I love being able to have all different types of music all in one place

No complaints here on my Mini Ipod... I love it, too! It's soooo practical! Never needing to lug around hundreds of cds from destination to destination. I used to carry around my cd walkman, and there were many times where I had the urge to hear a song, but I wouldn't have the cd with me (my cd wallet only held 10 cds at a time), so I'd have to wait, or forget about it. Now, I can listen to any song I want, whenever I want! Thank you, Apple...  (was going for a infomercial-type of response...  )

I love mine. It was a hand-me-down when someone got a new one. It was the original one made - a 5 gig. Its not big enough for me - I need more space!!!

I never understood why someone would buy an ipod now, when they first came out maybe. There are so many better choice, that not only play music but also video and pictures. I know apple now has the ipod photo, still cant play pictures. And why arent all the screens color?? Only the photo ipod give you this option. Also the thing I dont like about ipod is that you have to use apples itunes to either download or rip your current cds. There are better forms of compression that sound better and make smaller files, ie wma.

Your right Mr. JUne, thats why I have the IRIVERS. I put my favorite music vids on there, up to 20,000 songs ( which u can up grade I beleive to 30,000 now) and all my favorite pics.
I dont have to d/l from ITUNES. I can d/l from everywhere. I am using Napster now and LOVE IT. I def didn't like that with the IPOD I HAD to only d/l from one place.
Price was probably a little more then the IPOD but the features were much better.
I love my color screen
There are so many great mp3 players out there, I think its just that nobody knows that and everyone knows " the ipod".

i got my iPod mini just yesterday but i love it so far! i went for a nice long walk and clipped it into my pocket and it practically felt like nothing was there.

Very not true.
First off... you can get your music downloads from practically anywhere. They don't have to be from iTunes.
Plus... there are many other programs out there besides iTunes that you can use to synchronize and place your music onto your iPod. I personally prefer MusicMatch... but you can also use EphPod as well as a few others.
MusicMatch will also automatically compress your music collection during a sync that will allow you to place many more songs on your iPod.

so basically the only thing i had wrong was about getting music from other sources, still cant play wma, movies and the basic ones do not have a color screen.
so not very wrong

I have the Dell version - the Pocket DJ. It's practically attached to me.
I have the car adapter, the speakers and the regular headphones. It's ALWAYS with me and totally worth the money in my book if you are a music fan.
I use Music Match and the MSN Music store to download.
