Coming out of the lurker closet
Hi. I have been reading these posts for some time now and just got the nerve to write. I want to say that at a point when I felt so sad and alone in my infertility fight, I stumbled upon this site and now feel that I am not alone in my struggles. I have learned alot from all of the posts here, and I want to thank you all for giving me the strength to finally join. My DH and I had been TTC for 2 years when I was diagnosed with PCOS. It is 3 years later, and we haven't given up the fight. We have decided, come 2009, that we will start seeing an RE. My thoughts of "It's never going to happen" have now been replaced with "I have hope it will happen". Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Sorry so long.

Welcome.  I hope your stay here is short! All of the women on here are tremendous supporters of eachother. We're very lucky to have this place to communicate.

I think you are making a great decision by going to a RE. they really know how to make it happen for us!

Welcome and it really helps to be active on this site. We are at the 3 year mark also. Unbelievable really!! Hopefully you will move on quickly to the other board.

Welcome. I was a lurker for a while and while I appreciated the board, I got SO much more when I really started to post. The women on here are truly amazing.
This December will be 3 years since we started ttc. It WILL happen.

Best of luck to you. I have PCOS as well, and my RE was the best thing to ever happen to me. She was so confident that when we sat in her office for our initial consult, she said "I WILL have you pregnant in 3 months, if that's what you want". I wasn't expecting to hear that at all--I thought PCOS meant that I was doomed never to have my own children.
Lo and behold, I was pregnant on my first cycle of Clomid. Just know that there are many of us here to support you and cheer you on! This WILL happen for you!

I certainly hope your stay here is short....and just so you know PCOS is one of the most easily treated causes of IF.
