Is this normal?
When my grandmother got sick again and even when she passed away I thought about her all the time.
Now its been a little over a month and I dont like to think about her at all. Its like she will pop into my head and I try to push all thoughts of her away. I think its more for the fact that I just dont want to get upset anymore. I hate the crying and the fact that noone was able to help her when she was sick. Im tired of thinking about all the things people should have done for her or when they should have been there when she needed them the most.
I feel wrong not thinking about her but sometimes its just way too hard. Am I wrong?

Re: Is this normal?
It's very normal. I struggle with those kinds of thoughts every single day. You have to push them out of your head sometimes, because it's just too much to handle painful thoughts.
When I'm alone and need a good cry, I let those thoughts come back and I cry and let it out and then it's over.
I'm sorry and hope you feel better.

Re: Is this normal?
I know exactly how you feel! My Gma died almost two months ago and we are cleaning out her apartment. Today was the first day I had been at her apartment in a few weeks and I am so depressed
Sometimes I try and pretend I just haven't seen her in a while and then I remember that is just not true and then reality sets in...it makes me sick
