Pali vs. Sorelle?

Does anybody have any opinions? Also, do you think "Cherry" from one company would match "Cherry" from another company closely enough? I can't seem to pick both a crib and dresser that I like from the same company.

Re: Pali vs. Sorelle?

i don't know about pali, but i fell in love with a sorelle set online that my mom saw in person and said that it looked better online Chat Icon .

i think there are subtle differences in colors from company to company, but may be fine to mix and match. i would go into a showroom that has pali and sorelle in the colors you want (not necessarily the exact line, but same wood and finish) to see if you like it.

to date i have yet to hunt down the legacy light cherry hill and shaker village in chestnut pine Chat Icon

We were running into the same problem. You do kind of have to see the finishes in person to know for sure when you're matching brands. Most stores will actually have a board with small squares of wood so you can see the finishes and if the store does then you can compare the two companies if you cannot find furniture in person from both. if you're intersted in Pali you might want to go to this Forever Young store I was in today they're have a retirement sale, everything must go and there was a Pali cherry set there, the whole room for sale together as a package.

We went with a cherrywood set and I can tell you that the colors vary alot from company to company especially cherry. Some are red some are closer to plum some look black. I liked the quality of Pali but wound up going with Munire--check them out at Behr's if you can.........really well made furniture!
